Training

Brooklyn Robot Foundry provides a detailed and structured training program to equip franchisees and their operating teams with the knowledge and skills needed to run the business effectively:

  1. Initial Training Program: Franchisees and their Operating Principal must attend and complete the initial training program to the franchisor’s satisfaction before opening. This training is conducted at the franchisor’s headquarters in New York City, online, or at another designated location and covers company culture, business operations, equipment usage, customer service, marketing, and sales.
  2. Supplemental Training for New Operators: If new Operating Principals or other personnel are added later, they are required to complete the same training. The franchisor may charge a reasonable fee for these additional individuals.
  3. On-Site Inventory Organization: Before launch, a representative will provide in-person assistance to help organize inventory according to system standards at the franchisee’s Business Office. This support is available once the office setup meets all required specifications.
  4. Opening Event Support: The franchisor sends representatives to assist with the first two events hosted by the new franchise and supports two additional events within the first three months of operation.

Territory Protection

Brooklyn Robot Foundry offers franchisees a defined “Designated Territory,” generally outlined by ZIP codes and intended to provide operational boundaries. As long as the franchisee complies with the agreement, the franchisor will not operate or franchise another Brooklyn Robot Foundry location within that territory.

The franchisee must operate strictly within this area and concentrate all marketing and service efforts inside it. Despite this protection, Brooklyn Robot Foundry does not offer exclusive territories.

Franchisees may face competition from other franchisees, the franchisor, or affiliates through different distribution channels—even within their territory. Additionally, the franchisor reserves the right to reduce a territory or allow others to operate within it if performance standards are not met.
