Autism Care Therapy is a mission-driven healthcare franchise specializing in evidence-based therapy services for children on the autism spectrum. The franchise provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, along with speech and occupational therapy, to support children ages 1 to 20.
Its services focus on improving communication, behavior, and daily living skills through individualized care plans. Autism Care Therapy operates multiple locations across the United States, serving families in need of structured developmental support.
Autism Care Therapy was founded in 2021 and is headquartered in Lombard, Illinois. The company began franchising in November 2021, allowing qualified operators to open licensed therapy centers under its established clinical model.
Franchise locations are designed to deliver consistent, high-quality care through trained professionals and standardized treatment protocols.
The Autism Care Therapy franchise differentiates itself by offering a multidisciplinary therapy model under one brand. Rather than focusing on a single service, locations integrate ABA, speech therapy, and occupational therapy to address a wide range of developmental needs.

Autism Care provides a structured and multi-faceted training program for its franchisees to ensure consistency and high standards across all locations. The training programs offered by the franchisor include the following:
Initial Training Program: Autism Care mandates an Initial Training Program for the franchisee, the business director, manager, and BCBA (up to four trainees). This program must be completed at least 60 days before operations begin. The franchisor selects the training location or may conduct it virtually. Trainees are responsible for their travel and living expenses. Failure to complete this program satisfactorily may result in termination of the franchise agreement.
Pre-Opening Supervision and Assistance: The franchisor offers supervision at the franchisee’s site before and during the opening phase. This ensures proper implementation of operational standards and smooth business initiation.
Refresher Training: Franchisees may be required to participate in up to five days of annual refresher training. This training can be conducted virtually, at the franchisor’s office, at a franchisee’s site, or during the annual franchisee conference. Associated costs, including fees and travel expenses for both trainers and attendees, are the responsibility of the franchisee.
Additional Mandatory and Optional Training: Autism Care may require franchisees to attend further training on new operations or procedures. Optional training requested by the franchisee may also be provided, subject to approval. These sessions incur fees and require the franchisee to cover any related travel and living expenses.
Territory Protection
Autism Care offers franchisees a form of territorial protection known as a “Protected Area.” This area is generally defined as a one-mile radius around the approved location of the franchised business, and its exact boundaries are influenced by natural landmarks, demographics, and whether the area is urban, suburban, or rural.
During the term of the franchise, and as long as the franchisee is not in default, the franchisor agrees not to grant another franchise within the designated Protected Area.
However, the franchise does not guarantee an exclusive territory. Autism Care may still allow other franchisees, its own company-owned outlets, or affiliated brands to serve clients—even within an existing franchisee’s Protected Area.
