Nowlogy Clinic provides a structured and mandatory training program to prepare franchisees and their staff for successful operation. The franchisor’s training programs are outlined as follows:
Nowlogy Clinic provides each franchisee with a designated geographic “Territory” within which no other Nowlogy Clinic—franchised or company-owned—will be established.
Typically, this Protected Territory extends about 15 miles in suburban or rural areas and may shrink to a five-block radius in urban environments. The franchisee is allowed to solicit clients outside this area, but use of channels like telemarketing, internet sales, or other forms of direct marketing outside the Territory requires prior approval.
However, this protection is limited. Nowlogy Clinic explicitly states that it does not guarantee exclusivity against all competition within the Territory. The franchisor and other franchisees may still market or advertise in the area, especially if their campaigns are of a general nature (e.g., general newspaper ads or social media).
