Training

Initial Training
The initial training program covers essential operating skills and various topics chosen by the franchisor. It typically includes self-paced online courses and assessment tools, followed by about three days of virtual classroom training or sessions held at the corporate offices. This is complemented by a two to five-day in-person job shadowing experience at a location designated by the franchisor.

Vitals Training
The Vitals program generally comprises 12 to 16 hours of training focused on business leadership and operations, marketing, prospecting, customer service, system-wide initiatives, and general business practices. Offered approximately 8 to 10 times a year, this training may be conducted virtually, in-person at various regional hotels, or at the corporate offices in Woodbury, Minnesota.

Coaching Suite Training
Included as part of the initial training program, the Coaching Suite Training requires attendance by at least one of the Principal Owners before launching the Coaching Suite at an Anytime Fitness center. This program helps franchisees implement training services such as personal training, small group training, large group training, nutrition, and recovery coaching, which can be delivered to members either in-person or virtually, as approved by the franchisor.

Territory Protection

Anytime Fitness offers territory protection to its franchisees, guaranteeing that no other Anytime Fitness center will be established within the franchisee's designated protected area. This ensures that franchisees can build their business without the concern of direct competition from another Anytime Fitness location nearby.

By providing this exclusive territory, the franchisor supports franchisees in maximizing their market potential and fostering a loyal customer base. This strategic protection is a crucial aspect of the franchise agreement, aimed at promoting the long-term success of each franchisee.
