Zerorez Franchising Systems, Inc. provides a multi-faceted training structure to ensure franchisees are prepared to launch and operate their cleaning business effectively. Below are the main components of the training program:
IICRC Certification Franchisees or their designated managers are required to complete certification with the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning & Restoration Certification (IICRC). This third-party training must be completed before the franchise opens and costs between $454 and $579. It ensures that each franchise has at least one IICRC-certified employee at all times.
CRI Business Certification In addition to the IICRC, Zerorez requires franchisees to become certified as a Carpet & Rug Institute (CRI) business. This certification ensures adherence to industry standards and costs approximately $250 annually.
ERW Generator Training Zerorez and its vendors provide training on the installation and maintenance of the ERW Generator, which is essential for producing ZrWater, the brand’s proprietary cleaning solution. While training is provided, the franchisee is responsible for actual installation and compliance with the manufacturer’s maintenance guidelines.
Territory Protection
Zerorez Franchising Systems, Inc. grants franchisees an exclusive operating territory. Calls to the central 1-866-ZEROREZ number within this territory are routed to the assigned franchisee, ensuring localized service control.
However, this exclusivity has limits. Franchisees must service National Account customers even if they operate near or within the territory. Additionally, the franchisor may route service calls outside the exclusive area at its discretion, reducing full territorial protection.
