Training

Squeegee Squad provides several structured training and support programs for its franchisees. Here’s a breakdown of the training offered:

  1. Initial Training Program
The franchisor requires both you and your General Manager (if employed) to attend its training program at a designated location, currently either at your site or in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The training is conducted as often as needed, and you are responsible for paying the $5,000 Initial Training Fee along with travel, salaries, and living expenses for attendees.
  2. Pre-Opening Assistance
Before opening, Squeegee Squad provides a written schedule of required supplies and equipment, a list of approved sources for furniture, fixtures, supplies, and products, as well as hands-on pre-opening and opening assistance. This ensures you are fully prepared to operate according to system standards and are set up for a successful launch.
  3. Training Completion Requirement
Both you and your General Manager must successfully complete the initial training to the franchisor’s satisfaction before the business is allowed to open. This requirement ensures that key leadership is fully prepared to manage daily operations in line with Squeegee Squad’s standards and practices.

Territory Protection

Squeegee Squad grants its franchisees the right to operate within a defined geographic territory, which is clearly described in the franchise agreement through a written description or map.

The franchisor promises not to open or allow another Squeegee Squad business to operate within this territory during the franchise term, ensuring a level of territorial protection. However, the franchisor and affiliates retain the right to operate or franchise businesses outside the assigned territory.

While franchisees enjoy protected geographic areas, the protection is not absolute exclusivity. Squeegee Squad has an Inter-Territory Referral Policy allowing other franchisees or affiliates to perform services within another’s territory under specific conditions, especially when referred jobs are declined.
