Training

Wonderly Lights® provides franchisees with a multi-phase training program tailored to whether the business operates year-round or seasonally. The training is mandatory and includes both virtual and in-person components to prepare franchisees for successful business operation. Below are the training programs offered by the Franchisor:

  1. Initial Training Program
Franchisees must complete either 44 hours (Year-Round Business) or 39 hours (Seasonal Business) of remote training, which includes self-paced online modules and virtual classroom sessions. This is followed by 5 days (Year-Round) or 3 days (Seasonal) of in-person classroom and field training in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
  2. Testing and Certification
After completing the training, the franchisee and their Designated Manager must pass a comprehensive test based on the Operations Manual. If they fail, they must retake the training at their own expense.
  3. Advanced Training
Wonderly Lights® may also require attendance at one- to two-day advanced training programs focused on enhancing business management skills and introducing new services or products. Although these sessions are provided at no additional fee, franchisees must cover all related expenses.

Territory Protection

Wonderly Lights® provides its franchisees with an exclusive geographic territory, as outlined in their Franchise Agreement. This area typically includes up to 25,000 targeted households, defined as single-family homes with a household income over $100,000.

Within this territory, the Franchisor agrees not to grant additional Wonderly Lights franchises or operate similar company-owned businesses, provided the franchisee remains in compliance with the agreement.

The franchisee is expected to market and deliver services solely within their assigned territory, using only Franchisor-approved materials. Other franchisees are not permitted to solicit customers within your territory, although Wonderly Lights® retains the right to manage national or regional accounts directly.
