Training

Window Hero provides structured training to help franchisees and their teams effectively operate their business. The training encompasses foundational instruction, operational systems, and practical business setup. Here are the main training components:

  1. Initial Training Program: This program is included in the Opening Assistance Fee and covers key business functions such as operational protocols, marketing setup, and technology onboarding. It is available to the franchisee and up to two additional team members at no cost for tuition.
  2. Training for Additional Participants: If more than three individuals need to attend the training, a fee of $500 per extra participant is charged. This also applies to replacement trainees or repeat attendees. The training may be held at Window Hero headquarters or another designated location.
  3. Ongoing Training and Expenses: Franchisees are responsible for all travel, lodging, meals, and miscellaneous costs related to training. Additional training beyond the initial sessions is also available and may be required, with associated fees and expenses borne by the franchisee.

Territory Protection

Window Hero grants each franchisee a designated territory known as the “Designated Territory,” which is defined in the Franchise Agreement. Within this territory, the franchisor agrees not to establish another franchise offering the same services.

This territory is designed to give franchisees some degree of operational security and minimize internal competition. However, this protection is not absolute.

The franchisor retains the right to advertise and provide services outside of franchise territories, including digital marketing and national accounts. Additionally, the franchisee is required to secure a business location within this designated area within 12 months of starting operations to maintain territorial rights.
