Training

Supreme Deli offers a comprehensive training program to ensure franchisees and their personnel are equipped to run a successful Deli Kiosk. The training is designed for both pre-opening preparation and ongoing operational excellence. Here are the main training components:

1. Initial Training Program: The franchisor provides an initial operational training program for the Managing Owner, Operating Partner, and up to five other personnel per kiosk. This training is mandatory and must be completed to the franchisor's satisfaction before opening. Training is conducted at designated locations and includes instruction in operations, management, and use of franchise systems.
2. Supplemental Training: The franchisor may require additional training for management or staff, including online compliance modules and on-site sessions at the Deli Kiosk. These sessions come with associated fees and reimbursable expenses borne by the franchisee.
3. Training for Additional Personnel: If additional or replacement managers or Operating Partners are hired, they must complete the initial training. A training fee of $5,000 per individual may be charged for subsequent training sessions.
4. Opening Support and Crew: The franchisor may require a trained opening crew to assist with launching the kiosk. This crew will only be dispatched once the location is approved for readiness by a franchisor representative.

Territory Protection

Supreme Deli does not offer territory protection to its franchisees. The franchise agreement clearly states that franchisees will not receive an exclusive territory, and they may face competition from other franchisees, company-owned kiosks, or other distribution channels controlled by the franchisor.

Franchisees are only granted the right to operate at a single approved location, and no rights are provided for additional locations or territorial exclusivity. Furthermore, Supreme Deli reserves the right to establish and operate additional kiosks through any channel and in any location, including areas already occupied by franchisees.

The franchisor may also sell similar products under the same or different marks and may authorize others to do so without any obligations to the franchisee. This means franchisees must operate under the understanding that they may compete directly with other branded or franchisor-controlled outlets in close proximity.
