Deli Delicious is a premium fast-casual deli franchise known for high-quality, made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, and catering services. Based in Fresno, California, the brand emphasizes fresh ingredients, signature recipes, and a modern deli atmosphere.
The original Deli Delicious restaurant was founded in 1995 in Fresno, California, when the Hobab family purchased a small deli and built it into a local favorite.
The franchising arm, Deli Delicious Franchising, Inc., was formally incorporated in 2008 to expand the brand through franchised units. Its corporate headquarters remain at 2495 W. Shaw Ave., Fresno, CA 93711.
Deli Delicious began offering franchise opportunities in 2008 and now offers two primary franchise models: a Standard Model for full-size deli restaurants and an Express Model for smaller or non-traditional locations.
Here's what you would need to invest if you were to start this franchise. These costs are provided by the franchisor in the Franchise Disclosure Document.
Deli Delicious offers 2 types of franchises:
We are summarizing below the main costs associated with opening a Deli Delicious™ – Standard Model Franchise.
For more information on the various types of franchises and its costs, refer to the Franchise Disclosure Document (Item 7).
Deli Delicious provides a comprehensive training program for its franchisees and their staff to ensure operational excellence and compliance with brand standards. The training is mandatory and involves both classroom instruction and hands-on practice at their headquarters.
Deli Delicious provides limited territory protection to its franchisees, typically not exceeding a two-mile radius around the restaurant location. If a territory is granted, the franchisor agrees not to establish another Deli Delicious restaurant—either company-owned or franchised—within that defined area during the agreement’s term.
The territory is determined based on factors such as market demographics, foot traffic, and potential for success.
However, the franchisee’s exclusivity is restricted. Deli Delicious retains the right to sell or distribute its products via other channels, including the internet or direct marketing, even within a franchisee’s territory.
