Training

GolfCave provides a structured and multi-layered training program to equip franchisees with the knowledge and skills required for successful operation. The following is a numbered summary of the key training components:

  1. Initial Training Program: Before opening, the franchisee, Managing Owner, and General Manager must attend and complete the Initial Training Program, which is conducted by GolfCave at no cost for up to three people. Additional trainees are charged $500 per person per day. The franchisor determines the schedule, location, and curriculum of this training.
  2. Post-Opening Management Training: Any Managing Owners or General Managers appointed after the store's opening must also attend and complete the next scheduled Initial Training Program. All travel and living expenses are the responsibility of the franchisee, and the training fee is $500 per day per trainee.
  3. Optional On-Site Training: Franchisees may request on-site assistance and training from GolfCave after the initial program. While optional and subject to staff availability, this service costs $1,500 per day.

Territory Protection

GolfCave provides franchisees with a Development Territory as part of the Area Development Agreement, within which they are expected to develop and operate their franchised businesses.

During the term of this agreement, neither GolfCave nor its affiliates will establish company-owned outlets or grant other franchises under the same proprietary marks in this area, provided the franchisee remains in compliance.

The specific boundaries of the Development Territory are determined based on factors like population density and market conditions and are detailed in Exhibit A of the agreement. However, this territory protection is not absolute.
