Training

EggBred franchise offers a comprehensive and multi-layered training program designed to ensure franchisees and their teams are fully equipped to operate successfully. The training includes both classroom instruction and hands-on experience.

  1. Initial Operational Training
Franchisees must complete the Franchisee Certification Program, which includes 24 hours of classroom training and 50 hours of on-site training at a designated EggBred location in La Habra, California. This training is mandatory for the majority owner or operating partner, general manager, assistant manager, and kitchen manager.
  2. On-Site Opening Training
Franchisees also receive 56 hours of on-site training at their own location. This includes sessions on brand culture, menu and product knowledge, equipment usage, POS training, and soft opening support.
  3. Training for New or Replacement Managers
If a new Operating Partner or management staff member is added, they must be trained and certified at an approved training restaurant at the franchisee’s expense.
  4. Refresher and Additional Training
EggBred may require or offer additional training courses after the restaurant opens. These sessions, which can be held at the franchisee’s location or another designated site, are available for $350 per trainer per day plus travel and living expenses.

Territory Protection

EggBred franchise provides each franchisee with a Protected Territory once a restaurant location is approved. This territory generally consists of either a three-mile radius or an area containing at least 150,000 people, whichever is smaller.

While this zone grants exclusive rights against the establishment of another EggBred restaurant within it, the franchisor reserves the right to operate just outside the territory’s borders.

However, EggBred maintains broad rights to conduct business through other channels both inside and outside a franchisee's Protected Territory. These include operating or licensing locations at special sites such as airports, colleges, and malls, or selling products via the internet, retail, or mail order.
