Training

Bowl Boss Açaí provides a structured and mandatory training program designed to equip franchisees with the necessary skills and knowledge for operating their franchise successfully.

  1. Initial Training: The Managing Owner and one designated manager must complete the initial training program within 45 days of the scheduled or actual business start date. Training may be conducted in-person or remotely and includes classroom and on-the-job instruction. If more than two individuals attend, an additional fee of $300 per extra attendee per day applies.
  2. Supplemental Training: This training is offered at the franchisor’s discretion and may be required if the franchisee hires a new Operating Manager or fails to meet operational standards. It is conducted either on-site or remotely and costs $300 per trainer per day, plus travel and lodging expenses. Participation in this training is mandatory when requested by the franchisor.
  3. System-Wide and Ongoing Training: Franchisees must also attend any system-wide or refresher training programs designated by the franchisor. These sessions help maintain brand standards and keep franchisees up to date on operational improvements. Franchisees bear all travel and participation costs for these programs.

Territory Protection

Bowl Boss Açaí grants its franchisees a “Designated Territory” defined by either a three-mile road radius or an area encompassing up to 60,000 people, subject to approval by the franchisor.

Within this territory, and as long as the franchisee remains compliant, Bowl Boss Açaí will not authorize another restaurant using its system and trademarks. This territory may be smaller in captive market locations, like malls or airports, and the franchisor maintains flexibility in setting these boundaries.

However, the territory is not exclusive in all aspects. The franchisor reserves the right to use other distribution channels, including online and third-party platforms, even within the Designated Territory.
