1. Initial Training Program
   Afficient Academy requires all owners and managers to attend a mandatory training program at their corporate headquarters in San Jose, California. This program lasts up to ten days and must be completed about thirty days before the business opens. The training includes topics such as marketing, administration, technical operations, and management functions, along with exercises to develop a business plan and enrollment strategies.
2. Pre-Opening Support
   Before the franchise opens, Afficient Academy provides guidance on site selection and lease review. They offer detailed advice on location criteria, introduce real estate agents if needed, and assist in evaluating lease agreements. Franchisees must obtain final site approval from the franchisor.
3. Ongoing Training and Events
   Franchisees may be required to attend additional training sessions during franchisee conventions or when new managers are appointed. The franchisor continues to support franchisees by offering marketing guidance, creating a location-specific page on the corporate website, and announcing the Grand Opening.

Territory Protection

Afficient Academy grants franchisees a designated territory, which is defined using geographic markers like street boundaries or counties and is specified in the franchise agreement. However, this territory is not exclusive.

Franchisees may face competition from other franchisees, company-owned outlets, or other distribution methods controlled by Afficient Academy. Within the designated territory, franchisees may be permitted to offer Remote Monitoring services, provided they meet certain requirements.

While Afficient Academy encourages students within a franchisee's territory to enroll at the local Learning Center, students are allowed to enroll elsewhere if it’s more convenient.
