The Salt Suite Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

The Salt Suite offers salt therapy sessions, promoting respiratory health and relaxation through halotherapy in a calming and salt-infused environment.

The Salt Suite has emerged as a leader in the wellness industry, specializing in the practice of halotherapy, or salt therapy. Founded in 2011 and franchising since 2016, the brand is headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and has steadily expanded its presence across the United States.

Through its immersive salt therapy rooms, The Salt Suite offers clients a natural approach to improving respiratory health, skin conditions, and overall well-being. These specially designed environments mimic the microclimate of salt caves, where pharmaceutical-grade dry salt is dispersed into the air for therapeutic benefits.

Visitors to The Salt Suite can unwind in a tranquil setting while experiencing enhanced breathing, healthier skin, and a greater sense of relaxation. The franchise operates under a membership model, providing clients with convenient and ongoing access to its services.

Setting itself apart in the competitive health and wellness space, The Salt Suite combines a welcoming atmosphere with professional care, attracting a broad range of clients, from busy professionals to families and seniors seeking holistic wellness solutions.

Training

The Salt Suite provides a structured training program to ensure franchisees are fully prepared to operate their businesses. Here’s how the training is organized:

  1. Initial Online Training: Franchisees must first complete approximately three days of online training focused on learning about various conditions treated at The Salt Suite and mastering the use of software systems, including scheduling and customer management tools.
  2. Classroom and On-the-Job Training: Franchisees and their key personnel then participate in four days of in-person training at The Salt Suite’s designated training center. This phase covers operational procedures, marketing strategies, customer service protocols, office management, and sales associate training.
  3. Pre-Opening and Opening Assistance: Around the time of the Franchised Business opening, a corporate staff member travels to the franchisee’s location for about two days. This on-site training provides hands-on support for pre-opening preparations and helps familiarize the local staff with the operational standards and customer experience expectations.

Territory Protection

The Salt Suite provides its franchisees with an exclusive territory for operating their franchised businesses. Once a franchisee signs a lease for an approved site, they are granted an Exclusive Territory where The Salt Suite agrees not to establish another company-owned or franchised location selling similar goods or services under the same or similar trademarks.

The Exclusive Territory is typically based on a radius that includes a population of approximately 100,000 people, although the exact size may vary depending on market conditions.

While The Salt Suite offers strong territorial protection, there are notable limitations to this exclusivity. The franchisor reserves the right to sell products and services within a franchisee’s Exclusive Territory through alternative channels such as the internet or other marketing platforms.
