The Covery offers a structured and multi-stage training program for franchisees to ensure they are prepared for launch and long-term operational success. The training focuses on operational procedures, management, and medical service components. The programs are as follows:
Orientation and Initial Management and Sales Training This virtual pre-sales training must be completed not less than 120 days before opening the spa. Additionally, within 60 days of signing the Franchise Agreement, franchisees must complete orientation and initial management training programs to the franchisor's satisfaction. These sessions typically last up to five days and include modules on operations, manuals, and product use.
Sales and Operations Training Around 10–15 days before opening, a virtual training program is provided for the franchisee and team. It includes RN and manager training, business promotion, reporting, and financial analysis. The duration is expected to be three to five days.
Nurses Training Approximately 30 days before launch, nursing staff must complete online webinars and courses. On-site nurse training follows and may last up to five days. All physical site elements must be finalized before this training begins.
Territory Protection
The Covery grants franchisees a defined "Territory" based on population size or geographic radius, typically comprising around 100,000 people or a three-mile radius from the approved location.
During the term of the franchise, the franchisor agrees not to establish or allow others to open a R-Wellness location within this Territory. This commitment provides franchisees with operational stability and a degree of market insulation within their assigned area.
However, The Covery does not grant exclusive territorial rights. The franchisor retains the ability to sell products and services through various channels, including online and non-traditional venues such as airports, hotels, and malls—even within a franchisee’s territory.
