Training

Spring-Green provides a structured training program to equip franchisees and their management teams with essential operational knowledge. The components are as follows:

1. Initial Training Program: The Managing Owner and proposed operating manager must attend and successfully complete a training program before beginning operations. This training may be held at the franchisor’s headquarters or a designated location and includes both classroom and on-the-job sessions focused on business operations, agronomics, marketing, sales, and administrative practices.
2. Refresher and Ongoing Training: Spring-Green may require franchisees and employees to participate in ongoing training sessions or refresher programs. These may be conducted in person, virtually, or both, and are intended to reinforce standards and introduce new operational methods. Franchisees are responsible for all associated costs.
3. Meetings and Events: Attendance at national or regional meetings may be mandated by the franchisor. These gatherings focus on updates, system-wide practices, and new initiatives. Franchisees must cover transportation and lodging unless otherwise specified.

Territory Protection

Spring-Green provides territory protection for its franchisees with respect to Residential Accounts. Under the franchise agreement, Spring-Green and its affiliates agree not to establish another franchised business offering residential services within a franchisee’s designated territory.

This territory is defined in the agreement and generally includes specific population-based boundaries, allowing exclusivity only for services offered to residential customers.

However, the territory protection does not extend to Commercial Accounts. Franchisees may market and provide services to commercial clients both inside and outside their designated territories.
