Training

Sparkle Wash provides a comprehensive training structure to its franchisees to support operational and business success:

  1. Initial Training Program: Upon purchasing a new franchise, Sparkle Wash offers a 4-5 day training session at its headquarters in Oakwood, Ohio, for the franchisee and one designated representative. This includes lodging and local transportation, while travel and personal expenses are the franchisee’s responsibility. The program covers equipment use, operations, sales, and marketing techniques.
  2. Follow-Up On-Site Training: Within eight weeks of startup, a company representative visits the franchisee's location for three to five days to evaluate operations and offer guidance. This follow-up training is provided at no additional cost to the franchisee.
  3. Training for Additional Personnel: Franchisees may request training for extra staff at the headquarters. This is priced at $500 per day for up to two people, with a fee of $100 per additional person (up to a maximum of four attendees).
  4. Transfer Training: If a franchise is transferred, the new owners must undergo a minimum of five days of training at a cost of $500 per day for up to two people. Additional individuals may attend at $100 per day each, again capped at four participants.

Territory Protection

Sparkle Wash offers territory protection through its "Exclusive Territory" model. Under this arrangement, a franchisee is the only party permitted to operate a Sparkle Wash franchise within a clearly defined geographic area.

The franchisor agrees not to open or authorize any other franchise or company-owned outlet using the Sparkle Wash name or similar trademarks within this area, provided the franchisee complies with all contractual obligations.

In addition, Sparkle Wash allows franchisees the opportunity to purchase an adjoining unoccupied territory through a one-year option, which permits temporary operations in that area.
