Training

Skin Experts provides an extensive training program for franchisees and key staff to ensure consistent operations across all locations. This training is mandatory and encompasses both online and in-person components.

  1. Initial Online Training: Franchisees and their employees must complete an online training course of up to 71 hours. This program is made available as employees are hired and covers all foundational aspects of the business.
  2. In-Person Training Program: This consists of up to 89 hours (about 10 days) conducted at a corporate-owned or franchised Spa. It is mandatory for the franchisee (or Principal Owner), the general manager, and the lead esthetician.
  3. Opening Assistance: Skin Experts sends one or more experienced individuals to assist with operations for 5 days before and 5 days after the Spa opens, providing direct support during the critical launch period.
  4. Ongoing and Additional Training: The franchisor may require attendance at annual conventions or additional training programs. These may be conducted online, in person, or at various locations, with some associated fees.

Territory Protection

Skin Experts provides franchisees with a protected but non-exclusive territory. The franchisor agrees not to operate or license another Franchised Business within this Territory, assuming the franchisee complies fully with the Franchise Agreement.

The Territory typically encompasses a population of approximately 200,000 people but does not extend beyond a 30-mile radius, even if the population is smaller. However, Skin Experts retains significant rights within and beyond the Territory.

The franchisor and its affiliates can sell competitive products through different distribution channels, including online sales, for which the franchisee receives a 10% commission.
