Training

DaVi Nails franchisor offers extensive training programs for its franchisees, covering all essential aspects of running a DaVi Nails franchise.

Initial Orientation Training Before opening a franchise, the Franchisee's Operating Principal, along with required managers or assistant managers, must complete an initial orientation training program. This training takes place at the Franchisor's offices in Salt Lake City, Utah, or another designated location, which may include online sessions. Franchisees are responsible for covering their own travel, meals, and accommodation expenses.

Ongoing Training The Operating Principal, managers, and other employees have the opportunity to attend additional optional training courses, seminars, conferences, and programs provided by the Franchisor periodically. While these programs are typically offered at no charge, the Franchisee must cover related expenses such as transportation, lodging, meals, and wages.

On-Site Pre-Opening Supervision and Assistance To ensure a smooth opening, the Franchisor provides on-site pre-opening supervision and assistance. This may include an opening crew available for up to twenty-one days around the opening date, at the Franchisee's expense. Franchisees are required to reimburse the Franchisor for all reasonable expenses incurred in providing this support.

Managerial Training For Franchisees operating multiple salons, they have the option to conduct initial managerial training at their franchised business or another DaVi Nails salon they operate, subject to the Franchisor's approval.

Territory Protection

The DaVi Nails franchise agreement designates a specific location or "Territory" for franchisees, typically situated within a Walmart or a similar facility. While franchisees hold rights to operate within this designated location, the agreement does not extend exclusive territorial rights beyond it.

As long as franchisees comply with their agreement, the franchisor will not permit another DaVi Nails salon or Em Lash Studio to operate within the assigned Territory. However, franchisees do not possess rights to restrict or exclude DaVi Nails salons or businesses outside of their designated Territory.

The franchisor retains the authority to establish additional franchises or outlets outside the franchisee's Territory, potentially competing with the franchisee through these channels. The rights to the Territory are linked to the Sub-Lease agreement and are not contingent upon sales performance or market penetration targets.
