SalesStar Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

SalesStar offers sales training and development programs, helping businesses improve their sales performance and achieve growth through effective training and coaching.

SalesStar is a global sales transformation company that specializes in coaching, training, and strategic sales development for B2B organizations. Founded in 2005, the company was originally launched in New Zealand and is now headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.

SalesStar began offering franchise opportunities in 2023, giving experienced sales professionals the chance to build consulting practices under its brand.

The SalesStar franchise model is tailored for growth-oriented sales leaders. Franchisees, known as Practice Partners, deliver measurable client results using the company’s proprietary 9-Step High-Performance Pathway. This method blends coaching, sales enablement, and leadership development to improve team performance.

What sets SalesStar apart is its focus on lasting behavioral change rather than one-time sales training. It uses data-driven assessments, digital platforms, and structured coaching to create sustainable sales improvements. Many clients report significant gains, with some doubling their growth during economic downturns.

Training

SalesStar provides a structured training program to prepare franchisees to operate a SalesStar Practice effectively. This training covers proprietary sales methodologies and business operations. Here are the main components:

  1. Initial Certification and Authorization: Franchisees must undergo training to be certified and authorized to deliver SalesStar's unique programs. This includes mastering their 9 Step Pathway to Sales Transformation.
  2. Proprietary Sales Methodology: Training focuses on proprietary systems developed over 20 years, integrating sales transformation techniques for leaders, managers, and teams. Franchisees learn how to apply these techniques to deliver measurable results.
  3. Operational Standards and Tools: The program also includes detailed instruction on using the SalesStar Operations Manual, software systems, and reporting requirements. This ensures that every Practice operates in alignment with the brand’s expectations.

Territory Protection

SalesStar does not offer exclusive territory protection to its franchisees. The franchise operates under a “free range” territory model, which allows each Practice to function globally across any industry, niche, or location, provided the FDD is filed in the respective state.

While collaboration among international Practices is encouraged, each Practice may have up to ten coaches, and no geographic exclusivity is granted. Franchisees are permitted to solicit clients from any location within the U.S. or internationally, and likewise, they may face competition from other Practices or franchisor-owned operations.

SalesStar emphasizes internal policies to prevent client poaching through fair engagement rules detailed in the Operations Manual. This model promotes open market competition rather than territorial exclusivity among franchisees.
