Training

Leadership Management International (LMI) provides a structured training program for its franchisees, aiming to prepare them thoroughly for operating their business under the LMI brand. Here are the training programs offered:

1. Orientation and Start-up Training
   Franchisees receive start-up materials and an introduction to the LMI Business Success System. This includes a session with an LMI coordinator to review the system's components.
2. Effective Personal Productivity (EPP) Training
   Franchisees participate in the EPP program provided by the LMI home office to enhance their personal productivity skills.
3. Headquarters Visit and Business Planning
   A visit to the LMI headquarters in Waco, Texas, includes a one-day business planning session with the corporate team.
4. Sales Training
   Training in sales techniques and delivery of the LMI Business Success System sales presentation is conducted with the LMI home office.

Territory Protection

Leadership Management International (LMI) does not provide exclusive territory protection to its franchisees. Franchisees are allowed to operate within the continental U.S., but the agreement does not restrict LMI from placing other franchises in the same area.

The agreement emphasizes compliance with brand standards and includes post-termination non-compete clauses within a 100-mile radius of prior sales, but it does not guarantee territorial exclusivity during the term of the franchise.
