Training

Dale Carnegie provides a comprehensive and multi-stage training framework to ensure franchisees and their teams are equipped for operational success. The programs include the following:

  1. Franchise Partner Academy
This blended learning program is mandatory for the franchisee, designated manager, and owners with at least 10% interest. It includes online modules, self-paced learning, six days of in-person sessions at Dale Carnegie’s headquarters, and concludes with support from a dedicated Franchise Launch Team.
  2. Franchise Academy
This initial training includes up to 14 days of intensive training either at the company’s headquarters or a designated location. It is mandatory before opening operations and includes curriculum on business management, Carnegie systems, and service delivery.
  3. On-Site Training
The Franchise Principal must complete an additional 14 days of on-site training, typically at the office of an existing franchisee. This practical training is designed to reinforce classroom learning with real-world exposure.
  4. Apprenticeship Program
When required, this involves 5 days of immersive experience at an existing franchisee’s facility. It complements the Franchise Academy and provides hands-on operational insight.

Territory Protection

Dale Carnegie grants franchisees an exclusive geographic territory, typically containing a population of at least one million people. This territory is defined in the franchise agreement and cannot be modified by the franchisor during the term.

Franchisees may relocate within, but not expand or alter the size of their territory, nor do they receive rights to additional or neighboring areas.

While Dale Carnegie does not currently operate or plan to establish competing outlets under a different trademark within the territory, the franchisor retains the right to offer and sell the same services after the franchise term ends.
