Training

ActionCOACH provides a comprehensive set of training programs to franchisees, designed to prepare them for effective business operations and coaching services. The training includes structured classroom sessions and ongoing support.

  1. 5-Day Training Program: This program is intended for Firm Franchisees, Managing Director Coaches (MDCs), and Employee Business Coaches (EBCs). It covers topics such as Culture and Leadership, Alignment Processes, Business Building Systems (like "5 Ways" and "6 Steps"), Planning and Finances, and Marketing. It consists of approximately 39 hours of classroom training, typically held virtually or in Las Vegas.
  2. 10-Day Firm Franchise Training Program: This is a more extensive training format comprising 103 hours of classroom instruction. Key subjects include Sales Processes, Team Building, Organizational Structure, Product Marketing, Certification, and Graduation. This training is also conducted in Las Vegas and involves interactive techniques like case studies and role-playing.
  3. Ongoing Operational Support: Weekly communications are provided for the first 90 days post-launch to help franchisees tackle operational issues and receive guidance on marketing, sales, and coaching activities.
  4. Annual Conferences: Attendance at regional conferences is mandatory for ongoing learning, skill refinement, and updates on the ActionCOACH system.

Territory Protection

ActionCOACH grants its franchisees a limited form of territory protection through what it calls a Designated Direct Marketing Area (DDMA). This DDMA is semi-exclusive and defined by zip codes, postal codes, or counties.

Within this area, no new franchises will be granted or licensed to conduct Direct Marketing to businesses, although existing franchisees with prior rights may continue operating and could compete within the same DDMA.

While this structure does offer some level of protection, it is not entirely exclusive. Franchisees must also refer service requests from outside their DDMA to the Master Licensee, unless special permission is granted to service those clients.
