Training

SafeSplash provides a comprehensive training program to equip its franchisees and their teams with the skills and knowledge necessary for successful operations. Here’s a structured summary:

  1. Initial Training Program
SafeSplash offers an Initial Training Program for the franchisee or their Designated Business Manager, covering the system, swim training techniques, advertising, sales, customer relations, safety, and operations. This program typically takes place at their Denver, Colorado facility, and the franchisee is responsible for travel and living expenses.
  2. On-Site Opening Support
Franchisors may provide up to three days of on-site support at the franchisee’s location to assist with marketing and operations during the opening phase, at no additional charge to the franchisee for trainer travel costs.
  3. Ongoing Training and Annual Recertification
Franchisees must attend mandatory annual conferences and complete the Academy Recertification Training Program, which is delivered online to keep them updated on operational topics. Additionally, ongoing training may include seminars, conventions, and updated system and operational standards.

Territory Protection

SafeSplash provides its franchisees with a defined Authorized Territory, typically a five-mile radius for dedicated locations or a two-and-a-half-mile radius for hosted locations, based on local demographics and geography.

Within this area, SafeSplash agrees not to open or license another SafeSplash business, provided the franchisee remains in good standing with all obligations. However, the territory is not fully exclusive, as customers may still purchase products or services from other SafeSplash outlets or online sources.

In addition, under an Area Development Agreement, SafeSplash grants a Development Territory where multiple businesses can be developed, but this protection lasts only if the franchisee meets the development schedule.
