Training

Renovation Sells provides a comprehensive range of training programs to its franchisees to ensure successful operation of their businesses. These programs include:

1. Initial Management Training Program: A two-week program held in the Greater Chicagoland Area, Illinois, or virtually, before the opening of the franchised business. This program covers various operational and managerial aspects, such as product offerings, marketing strategies, and material standards.
2. Additional Training Programs: Mandatory and optional training sessions offered periodically. These may include national business meetings or annual conventions for up to five days per year. Franchisees are responsible for all associated costs, such as travel and lodging.
3. In-Territory Remedial Training: Training provided upon the franchisee's request or as deemed necessary by the franchisor. This includes phone or screen-share support or on-site training within the franchisee's territory, with applicable fees for services and expenses.
4. Counseling and Assistance: Business counseling services offered via telephone, video conference, or email, focusing on operational improvement and problem-solving. These services are typically free unless associated with in-territory training.

Territory Protection

Renovation Sells provides franchisees a defined Protected Area to operate their business, determined by demographics and market potential. During the agreement term, no other franchise will be opened in this area, though competition may arise from franchisor-operated outlets or alternative channels.

The franchisor reserves the right to sell products or services within the Protected Area through direct sales or referrals. This limited protection ensures operational exclusivity only if the franchisee complies with the agreement and is not in default.
