PROSE Salons is a premium nail boutique franchise founded in 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona. Headquartered at Uptown Plaza in Phoenix, PROSE was created to transform traditional manicure and pedicure services into a modern, luxurious, and wellness-focused experience.
The company began franchising in late 2017 and opened its first franchise location in 2018. PROSE offers professional nail care services including manicures and pedicures, using non-toxic, hypoallergenic products in clean, stylish, and odor-free environments.
What makes PROSE unique is its membership-based model. This approach provides members with exclusive pricing, complimentary service upgrades, flexible scheduling, and a dedicated relationship with their nail artist. The franchise emphasizes health, beauty, and consistency, setting itself apart from conventional nail salons.
Here's what you would need to invest if you were to start this franchise. These costs are provided by the franchisor in the Franchise Disclosure Document.
Prose Salons offers a structured and mandatory Initial Training Program for its franchisees and their designated General Managers. This program is designed to be completed at least three weeks and no more than six weeks before the salon opens for business. Below are the numbered components of the training:
Prose Salons grants each franchisee a Protected Territory once a salon location is selected and approved. Within this Protected Territory, Prose Salons agrees not to establish or license another PROSE® Salon for the duration of the franchise agreement, provided the franchisee is not in default.
The size and parameters of the Protected Territory are determined case-by-case, considering demographic and geographic factors such as population density and market characteristics.
However, this Protected Territory does not equate to full exclusivity. Prose Salons explicitly reserves the right to sell products and services through various channels—even within a franchisee’s Protected Territory—including online, retail stores, or via national accounts.
