Training

Precision Tune Auto Care provides a structured training program to prepare franchisees and their staff for operational success. The franchisor offers both initial and ongoing training with specialized content tailored to automotive service operations. The training is conducted primarily at the national training center in Leesburg, Virginia.

  1. Initial Training Program
This mandatory one-week course includes 46.5 hours of classroom instruction, typically scheduled Monday through Friday. The sessions are held at least twice per year and cover a comprehensive range of topics from leadership and profitability to staffing and retail operations.
  2. Engine Performance (Level 1) Course
In addition to the initial training, either the franchisee or an employee must complete a one-week engine performance training course before starting operations.
  3. Ongoing and Advanced Training
Precision Tune Auto Care provides continuous training after the franchise has opened, which may include advanced technical updates and management practices to keep franchisees current.
  4. Area Developer-Led Training
In regions where an Area Developer is present, additional localized training may be offered either onsite at the Center or nearby. These sessions may incur additional expenses for travel, materials, and lodging.

Territory Protection

Precision Tune Auto Care provides franchisees with an "Assigned Area," but this does not grant exclusive territorial rights. The franchisor may still operate or authorize other similar businesses nearby.

Franchisees are given the first right of refusal if the franchisor plans to open a new Center within a “Reserved Area” inside their Assigned Area. However, this is conditional on the franchisee meeting specific requirements and does not ensure complete territory protection.
