Black Optix Tint provides a multi-tiered training program to equip franchisees with the necessary knowledge and skills to operate their centers successfully. The training includes both initial and post-opening components, delivered through classroom instruction and hands-on experience.
Level 1 Training: This is the standard initial training program provided at BOT Franchising’s headquarters or another designated site. It is mandatory before attending Level 2 training. The franchisor covers airfare, hotel, and one meal per day for one person; additional attendees incur extra costs.
Level 2 Training: This consists of 40 hours (or one week) of on-the-job training at a certified center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It must be completed by the franchisee or their manager at least four weeks before opening. At least two employees must also complete this training and be scheduled for a combined 12 shifts weekly.
Replacement Training: If a Level 2 certified employee leaves, the franchisee must ensure a replacement is trained at a Certified Training Center within 120 days, incurring a $500 fee.
Post-Opening Training: The franchisor may mandate future training programs for franchisees and staff, either in-person or remotely. Attendance costs are the responsibility of the franchisee.
On-Site Startup Assistance: A franchisor staff member is provided for five days during opening to assist with operations. The franchisor bears their travel and associated costs.
Territory Protection
Black Optix Tint provides franchisees with a Designated Territory, which is typically defined using radius, zip codes, streets, or population data, as determined by the franchisor.
Once assigned, the franchisor agrees not to open or authorize another Black Optix Tint franchise using its trademarks within that specific territory during the term of the agreement. However, this does not mean franchisees receive exclusive territorial rights.
Despite the territory assignment, Black Optix Tint and its affiliates retain the right to operate or license other businesses within the same area under different trademarks.
