Postal Connections

Postal Connections Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

Postal Connections offers retail shipping, printing, and business services. They cater to individuals and businesses needing mail handling, packaging, and document services.

Postal Connections is a U.S.-based franchise that offers a wide range of business services, including shipping, printing, mailbox rentals, and eBay sales assistance. Founded in 1995 and franchising since 1996, the brand has steadily expanded across the country. It is currently headquartered in Frisco, Texas, and operates more than 40 locations nationwide.

The franchise provides essential services like packing, shipping, printing, copying, notary work, passport photos, and office supplies.

What sets Postal Connections apart is its integration with iSold It, an eBay sales service that helps customers sell their goods online. This hybrid of physical and digital services creates multiple revenue streams for franchisees.

Training

Postal Connections provides a comprehensive suite of training programs to ensure that franchisees and their team members can successfully operate the business. These programs include:

  1. Initial Franchise Training (IFT): This is mandatory for the General Manager and one other principal or key manager. The training must be completed within 180 days of signing the Franchise Agreement. While the first two attendees incur no training fee, additional attendees may be charged $750 each, and retraining can cost up to $350 per day.
  2. Post-Training Support: Following IFT, Postal Connections offers ongoing support through phone and internet consultation, access to confidential manuals, sample marketing materials, and follow-up visits by franchisor staff.
  3. Staff Training Courses: Optional and sometimes mandatory staff training sessions, seminars, and conferences may be scheduled. While no fees are charged for required programs, franchisees must cover attendee expenses such as travel and lodging.
  4. Business Coaching: Franchisees receive periodic in-person business coaching at their location or at the franchisor’s headquarters. Franchisees can also request additional coaching, subject to a per diem fee of $350 plus related travel costs.

Territory Protection

Postal Connections provides franchisees with a protected territory defined in the Franchise Agreement. This territory generally ranges from two city blocks in urban areas to a 20-mile radius in rural zones.

The protection means that as long as the franchisee complies with the agreement, the franchisor will not open or authorize another franchise or company-owned store within the specified area.

However, this protection is limited. Postal Connections reserves the right to sell products under its brand through alternative channels such as the Internet, catalog sales, or telemarketing—even within a franchisee's territory.
