SQUARE COW MOOVERS

SQUARE COW MOOVERS Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

SQUARE COW MOOVERS is a home-service franchise offering concrete, asphalt and pavement maintenance solutions, serving commercial and residential property owners, and known for proven process, durable results and low-overhead growth model.

Square Cow Moovers began in 2007 when the Lombard family launched a small moving operation in Austin, Texas, starting out with only a couple of trucks and a handful of employees. Their goal from the beginning was to create a company grounded in honesty, quality service, and strong family principles.

Today, the business is based in Cedar Park, Texas, in the Greater Austin region. Over the years, it has earned a reputation for putting customers first and maintaining the family-oriented culture on which it was built.

What started as a neighborhood moving team has grown into a comprehensive service provider. Square Cow Moovers now handles residential and long-distance moves, commercial relocations, labor-only assistance, packing services, moving supplies, and various storage options.

The brand took a major step in 2022 when it opened its franchise program, giving aspiring business owners the chance to bring its community-focused service approach to additional markets across the country.

Training

Square Cow Moovers provides comprehensive training programs for its franchisees through a combination of classroom, on-site, and ongoing support initiatives. Below are the primary training components offered by the franchisor:

  1. Initial Management Training
Before opening a Square Cow business, the Principal Owner and General Manager (if different) must attend and successfully complete the initial management training program. Up to three individuals may be required to attend. This program typically lasts five days and is held in Cedar Park, Texas. It includes use of training manuals and other materials, and is led by experienced trainers, including the Director of Franchise Coaching and Training. The training focuses on operational procedures and is updated periodically to reflect new practices and methods.
  2. On-Site Opening Assistance
The franchisor provides up to two days of on-site support at the franchise location to assist with opening operations. This includes practical support to help ensure a smooth launch. However, if the franchisee has previously opened a Square Cow location, the franchisor may opt not to provide this on-site assistance.
  3. Ongoing and Additional Training Programs
Franchisees and key personnel may be required to attend additional training programs and seminars, up to five days per year. These can include annual conventions and special sessions based on operational needs or performance issues (e.g., not meeting minimum sales targets). Training may be subject to fees, currently up to $500 per person per day.

Territory Protection

Square Cow Moovers provides franchisees with a “Protected Area” as defined in their Franchise Agreement. This area is typically based on ZIP codes and generally includes a population of at least 350,000 people.

While the franchisor agrees not to open another Square Cow Business within this designated territory during the agreement term, franchisees are not granted an exclusive territory.

Franchisees may still face competition from other franchisees, company-owned outlets, and different brands operated or licensed by the franchisor, even within the Protected Area. Furthermore, if a franchisee fails to meet specific annual gross sales thresholds, the franchisor reserves the right to reduce or eliminate the territorial protections.
