New Mom School offers educational programs and support services for new and expectant mothers, helping them navigate the challenges of motherhood with confidence.

New Mom School is a wellness and education franchise dedicated to supporting new mothers. Founded in 2023 by Alexandra Spitz in Orange County, California, it began as a local support class and quickly expanded due to its unique curriculum.

The franchise is headquartered in Laguna Niguel, California, and operates under New Mom School Franchising LLC. It began offering franchise opportunities in 2023 after over a decade of refining its program and building a loyal community of mothers.

New Mom School provides structured classes for new moms and their babies, covering various developmental stages from newborn to toddler. Offerings include educational sessions, breastfeeding support, and a safe space for mothers to connect and grow. The franchise sells both in-person experiences and supportive educational programs.

Training

New Mom School provides a structured and detailed training program designed to equip franchisees and key staff with essential operational and educational skills. These programs are tailored to ensure consistency and quality across all locations. Below are the numbered training programs:

  1. Initial Franchisee Training
The Principal Executive must complete an initial training program provided virtually or at designated locations such as Costa Mesa, CA or Dallas, TX. This training includes instruction based on the Operations Manual and proprietary curriculum. Lead members of the New Mom School team, including CEO Alexandra Spitz, conduct the sessions.
  2. Operations and Employee Training Support
The franchisor offers support in training new employees and provides staffing guidelines, although all employment responsibilities rest with the franchisee. Training materials and manuals are provided to support the internal onboarding process.
  3. Post-Opening Training
After the school begins operations, the franchisor may require the Principal Executive or employees to attend additional training sessions. These may occur in various formats and locations and can include a reasonable fee. Travel and lodging expenses are the responsibility of the franchisee.

Territory Protection

New Mom School grants franchisees a designated territory where they will operate their school. This territory generally includes a population of about 50,000 to 75,000 people, typically defined by a 10-mile radius or by geographical or political boundaries.

Within this territory, the franchisor agrees not to open another New Mom School or license one under the same trademarks or service marks during the agreement term.

Despite the territorial designation, New Mom School does not offer an exclusive territory. Franchisees may still face competition from company-owned locations, other franchisees, or sales through alternative distribution channels such as e-commerce or catalog marketing.
