Native Grill and Wings provides a structured and multi-phase training program to prepare franchisees for successful restaurant operations. These programs must be completed before opening and are mandatory for all non-passive owners and General Managers. Here are the key components:
Executive Training Program This is a 10-day program focused on franchise and business management. It is conducted at a designated location in Arizona, typically in the Phoenix area. The Manual is used as the core training material.
Manager-In-Training (MIT) Program This program is tailored for restaurant managers and runs for approximately 10 to 12 weeks. It may take place at the franchisee’s restaurant or another franchised location in Phoenix. Materials include the Opening Unit Manual, Food and Beverage Manual, and Manager-In-Training Manual.
Onsite Training Program Native Grill and Wings dispatches a certified training team to the new franchise location for 7 to 14 days. This hands-on training occurs partly before and partly after the restaurant opens. It covers all operational areas and uses materials like the Pre-Opening 45 Day Operational Manual and Employee Job Function Manuals.
Territory Protection
Native Grill and Wings does not offer exclusive territory protection to its franchisees. While each franchisee must obtain approval for their specific site and it may be documented in the Site Selection Area of the agreement, the franchise does not guarantee that other Native Grill and Wings restaurants won't be opened nearby.
The franchisor retains broad discretion to approve locations based on strategic business criteria, and approval does not include assurances of market exclusivity.
