Training

Mosquito Hunters provides a well-structured training program to equip franchisees and their supervisory staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to operate their businesses effectively. The training programs include the following:

1. Initial Training Program: This is a four-day course totaling approximately 36 hours of classroom and on-site instruction. It is conducted at Mosquito Hunters’ headquarters or nearby facilities and includes online learning components such as handouts and access to an online learning management system.
2. Computer Software Training: Training is provided by the designated software supplier to ensure franchisees are proficient in using the necessary computer systems for daily operations.
3. Supplemental and Refresher Training: Franchisees and their supervisory personnel may be required to attend periodic additional training sessions. These are provided without a training fee, although travel and lodging expenses are the responsibility of the franchisee.
4. Online Training Resources: Mosquito Hunters maintains a system with over 300 custom training courses on various topics including business strategies, marketing, and technical skills, accessible through their online platform.

Territory Protection

Mosquito Hunters does not grant franchisees an exclusive territory. Instead, franchisees receive a defined territory in which they are expected to operate and generate all business revenue.

While the franchisor generally refrains from authorizing another Mosquito Hunters or Humbug location within that defined area, this protection is contingent upon the franchisee complying with the terms of the franchise agreement.

Despite having a designated territory, Mosquito Hunters retains broad rights that limit territorial exclusivity. The franchisor may operate or authorize businesses that do not materially overlap with the franchisee’s territory.
