Majestic Residences provides comprehensive training programs designed to prepare franchisees and their teams for effective business operations. These programs are mandatory and customized depending on the type of franchisee (new or conversion).
Initial Training Franchisees and their designated Operations Manager must complete an initial training program, which includes classroom instruction at corporate headquarters or another location and five days of on-site training. Completion to the franchisor’s satisfaction is required before opening the business.
Phase 2 and Phase 3 Training Conversion franchisees may be required to attend additional Phase 2 and Phase 3 training sessions, based on the franchisor’s discretion. These cover advanced topics and operations specific to transformed or upgraded homes.
Extended Support and Weekly Calls After the grand opening, franchisees receive 16 weeks of continued training and implementation support, along with weekly calls during the first year to reinforce key business practices and resolve issues.
Territory Protection
Majestic Residences offers territory protection to its franchisees under specific terms. Franchisees are granted an exclusive geographic area, typically defined as twice the minimum distance required by local laws between assisted care facilities.
This territory is formalized in Exhibit A of the Franchise Agreement and aims to ensure no other Majestic Residences businesses are placed within the designated zone, provided the franchisee complies with the agreement.
However, the exclusivity comes with important limitations. Majestic Residences and its affiliates retain the right to engage in a range of activities outside the protected territory, including operating or licensing similar businesses under different names.
