Training

Lawn Pride provides a variety of training programs to equip franchisees and their teams with the necessary skills for successful operation. Here’s a breakdown of the training offerings:

1. Initial Training Program: This is a mandatory 3-5 day classroom training held at the franchisor’s principal office or virtually. The franchisee, their principal owner (if applicable), and any additional approved attendees must complete it before the business opens.
2. Annual Training (“Reunion”): Franchisees are required to attend an annual conference event called the Reunion. At least one representative must be present every year, and attendance is at the franchisee’s expense.
3. Refresher and Advanced Training: If Lawn Pride determines that a franchisee needs additional training, such as being out of compliance with the system, refresher or advanced sessions may be required. These can be conducted in person or virtually.

Territory Protection

Lawn Pride grants its franchisees a defined Territory that is protected under specific conditions. While the franchisor commits not to establish another Lawn Pride franchise or company-owned location within that Territory during the agreement term, this protection is conditional on the franchisee maintaining compliance with the contract and meeting performance standards.

The Territory typically includes a minimum of 45,000 Targeted Households and may be adjusted with written agreement, but Lawn Pride reserves the right to advertise or service Key Accounts even within the franchisee's Territory.

Despite these protections, Lawn Pride retains substantial flexibility. It can authorize others, including other franchisees or third parties, to provide services inside a franchisee's Territory under certain conditions—such as when the franchisee is unavailable or unable to meet service demands.
