Training 

Initial Training

  • Participants: The franchisee (or principal owner) and the Manager are required to attend.
  • Completion: Successful completion of the training to the franchisor's satisfaction is mandatory before opening the business.
  • Deadline: Training must be completed within three months of the agreement's effective date.
  • Fees: Training is free for up to two individuals, but the franchisee is responsible for transportation, lodging, meals, and incidental expenses.
  • Requirement: The business must always be managed by someone who has completed this training program.
  • Flexibility: The franchisor may waive parts of the training at their discretion.

Employee Training The franchisee must implement and conduct an approved training program for employees, ensuring they meet the franchisor's standards and are qualified for their roles.

Additional Training

  • Additional Attendees: Extra representatives can join the initial training if space permits and with prior notice, with all related expenses covered by the franchisee.
  • Mandatory Attendance: Franchisees, managers, and employees must attend any additional training programs required by the franchisor, which cover updates and changes in operations or the system.

Territory Protection

Protected Territory: Franchisees are assigned a protected territory defined by ZIP Codes, encompassing between 50,000 to 80,000 single-family dwellings. Should the ZIP Codes within the protected territory be modified, the franchisor may adjust the territory accordingly, potentially altering the number of dwellings or the geographic area covered.

Franchisees are not granted exclusive territories. They may encounter competition from other franchisees, franchisor-owned outlets, or other distribution channels or competitive brands managed by the franchisor.

Under specific conditions, the franchisor commits not to establish or authorize others to establish and operate a business providing system services to residential or "light commercial" customers within the protected territory using the franchisor’s marks or system. This protection excludes actual or prospective customers designated as National Accounts.
