Training

Art of Drawers provides an extensive training and support program to prepare franchisees for launching and operating their business. The franchisor focuses on ensuring brand consistency and operational readiness through structured instruction and ongoing guidance. The main components of the training are:

  1. Initial Training Program: This foundational program is required before launching the franchise. It covers the System and brand standards but does not extend to general business or operational training for employees. Training is provided to franchisees and, where applicable, installers on procedures necessary to run the business effectively.
  2. Operations Manual: Franchisees receive a 408-page Franchise Operations Manual, which includes mandatory policies, procedures, and standards. This resource remains the franchisor’s property and must be kept confidential. It serves as a reference for daily operations and long-term strategy.
  3. Post-Opening Support: After the initial launch, franchisees receive on-site support for three days to assist with warehouse or storage setup. Additionally, ongoing advice is provided upon request, and refresher or supplemental training is available when needed, sometimes for an additional fee. This ensures that franchisees remain aligned with evolving system requirements and best practices

Territory Protection

Art of Drawers grants franchisees a designated territory in which they have exclusive rights to operate under the franchise system. This territory is described in the Franchise Agreement, and no other franchisee is permitted to open or operate within that defined area.

The franchisee must sign a separate agreement for each territory they wish to develop, and the exclusivity is tied to the specific boundaries laid out during the agreement process.

Franchisees do not automatically receive rights to expand or acquire additional franchises within or outside their territory unless separately negotiated through a Multi-Franchise Addendum.
