Training

1. Initial Franchise Training
   This week-long program includes classroom and online training. Topics covered include business overview (2 hours), marketing research (1 hour), and additional modules via remote documentation. It is conducted at an affiliate location or other designated site.
2. Employee Training
   Franchisees are required to use training programs and materials specified by the franchisor to train instructors and other employees. This ensures consistency with the Kids STEM Studio system and brand standards.
3. Supplemental Training
   The franchisor may offer or require attendance at additional seminars, regional meetings, webinars, or training sessions. These are held at designated locations, and all associated costs are borne by the franchisee.

Territory Protection

Kids STEM Studio provides franchisees with an exclusive territory, defined by a geographic area or radius based on the franchise model—3 miles in urban, 5 in suburban, and 7 in rural areas, or a set of elementary schools for Community Connect franchises.

Within this territory, as long as the franchisee meets performance requirements and remains compliant, the franchisor will not open another company-owned or franchised business.

However, this territory protection is limited. The franchisor reserves rights to operate through alternative channels such as the internet, use different trademarks for similar services, and service national accounts even within a franchisee's area.
