Kidokinetics is a vibrant children's fitness franchise focused on promoting physical activity and confidence through non-competitive, multi-sport programs for kids aged 1 to 10. The company was founded in 1995 by Terri Braun, a passionate educator and trainer dedicated to child development through movement.
Headquartered in Davie, Florida, Kidokinetics began franchising in 2006 and has since grown to serve over 40 markets across the United States. Its programs are offered in a wide range of venues, including schools, parks, community centers, and recreation departments.
The franchise provides an engaging curriculum designed to develop motor skills, coordination, and self-esteem through a diverse lineup of sports and activities. Kidokinetics stands out by emphasizing the F.U.N. factor—Fundamental, Understandable, and Noncompetitive—which ensures that children of all abilities can enjoy and benefit from its classes.
Each session is thoughtfully tailored to different age groups and structured to support the physical and emotional development of young children. One of the unique aspects of the Kidokinetics model is its mobile business structure. Unlike traditional brick-and-mortar operations, franchisees can deliver programs directly to clients without needing a dedicated facility.

Initial Management Training Program: Franchisees, their Principals with management responsibilities, and Managers must complete this training, which covers operations, sales, marketing, financial management, and customer service. The training is held at Kidokinetics' headquarters in Davie, Florida or another designated location.
Business Operations and Technology Training: This includes modules on CRM, QuickBooks, Canva, and Kidolink systems, designed to equip franchisees with the technological tools necessary for daily operations.

Territory Protection
Kidokinetics grants franchisees a defined territory, usually with a minimum population of approximately 250,000 people, within which they are authorized to operate their mobile sports fitness programs for children.
During the term of the agreement, and as long as the franchisee complies with its terms, the franchisor will not establish or allow another Kidokinetics business using the same marks within this territory.
However, the territory is not deemed “exclusive,” meaning the franchisee could still face indirect competition from other franchisees or brands under the franchisor's control operating outside the territory.
Franchisees are not allowed to operate or advertise outside their assigned territory unless they receive written authorization from the franchisor. Meanwhile, the franchisor reserves rights to operate or license other businesses, including those offering similar services under different trademarks, inside or outside the franchisee’s territory.
