Instant Imprints provides a structured training program to support new franchisees in successfully launching and operating their centers. The Franchisor offers the following training initiatives:
Initial Training Program: This training is mandatory for the franchisee and at least one designated manager. It is designed specifically for those operating a Brand Center or Growth Center. The training program covers critical operational aspects of the franchise, ensuring that new operators understand how to manage their centers effectively.
Operations and Training Manual: Franchisees are given electronic access to the Operations and Training Manual. This document outlines the operational systems, policies, and procedures essential for running a compliant and successful Instant Imprints Center. It is treated as confidential and must be strictly followed. Updates and revisions to the manual are issued by the Franchisor, and franchisees are required to maintain a current version.
Buildout and Equipment Support: The Franchisor provides guidance on equipment specifications and approved suppliers. They coordinate the order and delivery of the necessary equipment and supplies, and assist in setting up accounts with key vendors. These services are part of the Buildout Coordination Fee and help ensure a smooth setup process for new centers.
Territory Protection
Instant Imprints does provide a form of territory protection to its franchisees. When you are granted a franchise, the franchisor designates a specific “Designated Territory” where your Center will operate.
This territory is defined in the Franchise Agreement, and within this area, the franchisor typically agrees not to establish another franchise or operate a competing company-owned outlet. However, this territory protection is not absolute.
While the franchisor avoids placing similar Instant Imprints Centers within the defined territory, it may still conduct sales through other channels like the internet, direct marketing, or national accounts that could result in competition within your area.
