Gatti's Pizza offers an extensive training program that combines classroom instruction, online modules via the Mr. Gatti’s Skyprep website, and practical on-the-job training. Each trainee is given a unique username and password to access the online modules, ensuring they gain essential knowledge in various operational areas.

Additional Resources and Support

For new restaurant openings, Gatti's Pizza provides additional support that may include representatives from the point-of-sale (POS) system, game room, and IT support, among others. This support is customized for each opening, with a detailed training calendar outlining the support schedule.

Management Training

The management training program is particularly intensive, involving Managing Owners, Regional Managers, General Managers, and Assistant Managers. This multi-week program covers critical operational topics such as employee training techniques, budgeting, and guest relations, ensuring that the managerial staff are thoroughly prepared to maintain the brand's standards.

Train the Trainer Sessions

Gatti's Pizza also offers a complimentary one-day Train the Trainer session, designed to equip management with the necessary tools and resources for training hourly team members. This session standardizes the training process across the franchise, ensuring consistent and effective employee preparation.

Territory Protection

Gatti's Pizza provides franchisees with a designated geographic area known as the "Protected Area." While this territory offers some level of protection, it is not exclusive. Franchisees may encounter competition from other franchisees, franchisor-owned outlets, or other distribution channels and competitive brands managed by the franchisor.

The franchisor assigns a specific geographic area around each Mr. Gatti’s Family Entertainment Center (FEC), designed to prevent the establishment of another Mr. Gatti’s FEC within a 5-mile radius in typical areas or a 3-mile radius in densely populated areas, relative to the approved location.

However, this territorial protection is limited to Mr. Gatti’s FECs and does not cover other types of Mr. Gatti’s Pizza facilities that the franchisor, its affiliates, or other franchisees may establish or operate.
