Elite Tutoring Place Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

Elite Tutoring Place provides individualized academic tutoring in core subjects to help students excel and achieve their educational goals.

Founded in 2014 by Ali Pabarja, Elite Tutoring Place is an educational franchise that began in Naperville, Illinois, where it is still headquartered. The company started franchising in 2015, giving business-minded individuals the opportunity to help students achieve academic success through high-quality tutoring services.

Elite Tutoring Place offers academic support for students from kindergarten through high school. Services include tutoring in core subjects like Algebra, Physics, Chemistry, Geometry, and English, as well as test preparation for the ACT, SAT, PSAT, and AP exams.

The curriculum is designed to align with Common Core State Standards, providing consistency with school programs while also helping students build study skills and prepare for college.

The franchise stands out for its franchisee-friendly approach. With low royalty fees and no required vendor lists, franchise owners have the flexibility to tailor their business to meet local needs. This autonomy, combined with a proven educational model, helps create a learning environment focused on individual student growth.

Training

Elite Tutoring Place provides a structured and detailed training program to ensure franchisees are fully equipped to operate their locations successfully. The training is mandatory and covers a comprehensive range of topics. Here are the main programs:

  1. Initial Training Program: This includes 64 hours of classroom training and 16 hours of on-the-job training, primarily held at the company’s headquarters in Naperville, Illinois. At least two individuals must attend, and completion is required either within six months of signing the Franchise Agreement or ten days before opening. If retraining is necessary, there is a $2,500 fee per person.
  2. Training Curriculum: Topics include business overview, company mission, franchise responsibilities, use of the Operations Manual, pre-opening procedures, marketing strategies, financial reporting, and customer relations. The sessions are led by the company president and supported by experienced staff.
  3. On-Site Opening Support: Upon opening, a representative from Elite Tutoring Place will spend the first two days at the franchisee’s location to provide 16 hours of on-site training and support for both the franchisee and their employees. This helps ensure that operations start smoothly and in accordance with company standards.

Territory Protection

Elite Tutoring Place grants each franchisee an exclusive territory, clearly defined by a group of contiguous zip codes that form a singular geographic area. This territory is specified in Exhibit B of the Franchise Agreement and is designed to encompass a particular population or household base.

Once established, neither the franchisor nor its affiliates will operate or authorize another franchise within that territory. The size of each exclusive territory varies based on whether the location is downtown, suburban, or rural, with no guarantee of uniformity among franchisees.

While franchisees may serve walk-in clients from outside the territory, they are not permitted to market or advertise outside their designated area without prior written approval. This structure aims to protect franchisees from internal competition while balancing demographic realities.
