Territory Protection

EarthWise Pet offers a form of limited territorial protection to its franchisees. The franchisor agrees not to establish or authorize another retail shop using the principal trademark within the designated “Franchise Territory” as specified in the Franchise Agreement.

This territory is generally determined based on driving mile radius and varies depending on urban density and demographic considerations. However, EarthWise Pet does not grant an exclusive territory.

Franchisees may still face competition from other franchisees, company-owned outlets, or alternative distribution channels such as internet sales and direct marketing.
