DUCTZ provides comprehensive training to franchisees to ensure effective and compliant operations. The training is designed to equip owners and staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver HVAC cleaning and restoration services to the brand’s standards. Here are the key components of the training programs:

1. Business Manager and Technical Operations Training Program: This foundational training must be completed successfully and includes both managerial and technical instruction. It covers essential aspects such as system operations, service standards, and use of equipment. This training is mandatory before the franchisee begins operations.
2. ASCS Training and Certification: Franchisees are responsible for completing Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) training, which is critical for technical credibility and compliance. NADCA-approved courses and convention attendance count toward the continuing education credits required for annual renewal.
3. Kick Start Marketing and Digital Tools Training: Included in the Initial Package, franchisees receive training on digital marketing tools, including SEO, website analytics, call tracking, and more. These services support initial market entry and visibility, and the training ensures franchisees can use them effectively.

Territory Protection

DUCTZ offers a form of territory protection to its franchisees, which is detailed under its designated operating areas. Franchisees are granted rights to operate within specific geographical boundaries referred to as their DOT (Designated Operating Territory) and RSA (Restricted Service Area).

Within these areas, franchisees have the exclusive right to advertise, solicit, and perform services unless otherwise approved in writing by the franchisor.

While these rights aim to provide operational security, the protection is not absolute. Franchisees must receive prior written consent to operate outside their RSA or to serve customers in another franchisee’s DOT.
