DRYMedic provides franchisees with a structured training program that includes several phases to prepare them for operating the business:
Initial Training Program Before opening, the Key Person and designated Owners must complete a two-phase training program: Phase One is an online “Pre-Training,” and Phase Two is an in-person or virtual “Classroom Training” lasting about six business days. This training covers franchise operations, performance, and development and is typically held at the DRYMedic office in Bloomfield, Michigan, or another designated location. Successful completion is required before the business can open.
Additional and Ongoing Training After opening, DRYMedic offers required and optional training programs at various times and locations, which may be delivered in person, by video, or online. Franchisees are responsible for all travel and related expenses, and DRYMedic may charge extra fees for remedial training, additional trainees, or optional programs.
Annual Conventions and Regional Meetings Franchisees must attend an annual convention, if offered, and may also participate in regional meetings focused on updates, best practices, and networking. A convention fee may apply, and attendees cover their own travel costs.
Territory Protection
DRYMedic provides its franchisees with a protected Territory during the term of the Franchise Agreement, as long as they remain in compliance. This protection means neither the franchisor nor other DRYMedic or STOP franchisees can actively solicit work or conduct targeted marketing within the assigned Territory.
However, it does not grant an exclusive right to service, and other franchisees or company representatives may still perform work in the Territory under certain circumstances.
The franchisor retains the right to operate businesses outside the Territory and can approve the franchisee’s work outside their Territory on a case-by-case basis. Franchisees may also be asked to participate in national or regional key account programs that cover multiple territories, including theirs.
