Disc Replay is a U.S.-based retail franchise specializing in the buying, selling, and trading of used entertainment media and electronics. Founded in 1994, the company began franchising in 2012. The franchise is headquartered in Milford, Michigan.
Disc Replay stores carry a broad selection of pre-owned items, including DVDs, Blu-ray discs, video games, gaming consoles, accessories, CDs, vinyl records, and various consumer electronics.
Some locations—branded as “Super Mega Replay”—offer even more extensive inventories, featuring small appliances, home décor, sporting goods, tools, and pet supplies. All items are guaranteed to function like new, offering customers affordable alternatives without compromising quality.
What distinguishes Disc Replay from its competitors is its dedication to customer satisfaction and its strong community presence. Each store typically holds over 25,000 items and offers competitive pricing for both purchases and trade-ins.
Here's what you would need to invest if you were to start this franchise. These costs are provided by the franchisor in the Franchise Disclosure Document.

Disc Replay offers a multi-phase training program to ensure franchisees and their managers are equipped to operate a successful outlet. The training is both foundational and ongoing to support franchise operations over time.
Disc Replay offers franchisees a defined "Protected Territory," within which no other Disc Replay, Mega Replay, or Super Mega Replay outlet will be operated or franchised. The territory typically spans a four-mile radius in urban areas or a ten-mile radius in rural areas.
These boundaries are fixed and will not be changed without written consent from the franchisor, regardless of population shifts. However, the protection is not all-encompassing.
Disc Replay reserves the right to sell similar products and services through alternative channels such as the Internet, catalogs, or direct marketing, even within a franchisee’s territory. Franchisees are not allowed to independently market online or conduct e-commerce, as the franchisor exclusively controls those channels.
