Color Glo Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

Color Glo provides restoration and repair services for leather, vinyl, fabric, and hard surfaces, helping extend the lifespan of various materials.

Color Glo International is a global leader in mobile restoration and repair services. Founded in 1975 and formally incorporated in Minnesota, USA, the company is headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Training

Color Glo provides a comprehensive training program to franchisees as part of their franchise agreement, with the following components:

  1. Initial Training Program
The franchise includes an initial training program that covers two individuals. This program is part of the start-up fee of $21,500.00. It encompasses legal and administrative training, and provides the franchisees with a Start-Up Kit, which includes an initial supply of all required Color Glo products and supplies. However, travel expenses for training are not included and must be covered by the franchisee.
  2. Start-Up Kit and Supplies
The Start-Up Kit provided during training ensures that franchisees have all necessary proprietary products such as Dash Repair materials, leather dyes, conditioners, adhesives, solvents, and other essential tools and materials specified by Color Glo.
  3. Training Prerequisite
Full payment of the start-up fee is mandatory before training is scheduled. This ensures the franchisor's commitment is matched by the franchisee's financial commitment to begin operations.

Territory Protection

Color Glo provides its franchisees with an Exclusive Territory, ensuring a defined operational area typically covering a population of 300,000 to 500,000 people. Although no specific business premises are required, the franchise must operate from within this Exclusive Territory.

The franchise agreement prohibits other franchisees or the franchisor from selling proprietary products or authorizing competing services within the territory, offering a level of territorial protection to the franchisee.

However, this exclusivity is not absolute. Color Glo reserves the right to sell Craftsman’s Choice® and CGI Boutique Services Products® in any area, including the franchisee’s territory, without offering compensation for such sales.
