Caring Transitions has carved out a prominent role in the senior services industry since its founding in 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Specializing in relocation support, estate sales, downsizing, and decluttering, the company delivers a complete suite of services tailored to older adults and their families.
By combining these solutions under one brand, Caring Transitions simplifies what is often a complex and emotional process, helping seniors navigate life changes with greater ease and peace of mind.
The brand began franchising in 2006 and has grown to more than 345 locations across the U.S., a testament to the rising demand for expert guidance during later-life transitions.
Consistently ranked as the top franchise in senior relocation by Entrepreneur Magazine for five straight years, Caring Transitions continues to build on its reputation for reliability, compassion, and comprehensive support.
Here's what you would need to invest if you were to start this franchise. These costs are provided by the franchisor in the Franchise Disclosure Document.
Caring Transitions offers a structured training program designed to prepare franchisees and their teams for operating the business effectively. The training includes classroom sessions, practical guidance, and ongoing support to ensure alignment with franchise standards.
Caring Transitions offers franchisees a protected territory defined by postal codes, with each territory typically encompassing a population between 175,000 and 200,000 people.
Once the initial training is completed and operations begin, the franchisor agrees not to establish or franchise another substantially similar business within the franchisee’s designated territory. This territorial protection is maintained regardless of changes in population or ZIP code boundaries, which may be redefined by the franchisor to closely match the original area.
However, this protection is not absolute. Caring Transitions reserves the right to allow existing franchisees to continue serving clients who were already under contract before a new territory was assigned.
