Training

Boost Home Healthcare provides its franchisees with a comprehensive, multi-phase training program designed to ensure the successful operation of their businesses. Here’s a summary of the training programs offered by the franchisor:

  1. Phase One Training
This phase begins after signing the franchise agreement and lasts two to three weeks. It consists of self-study and online study using provided manuals that cover the home health care industry and operational aspects of the business.
  2. Phase Two Training
Lasting approximately two weeks, this phase must be completed to the franchisor’s satisfaction. The owner must attend the full program, while key staff (such as sales/marketing professionals, administrators, and the Director of Patient Care Services) are required to attend sessions relevant to their roles.
  3. Phase Three Training
This phase includes 16 hours of interactive virtual training focused on door opening tasks, sales, marketing, and finance/accounting. It is conducted at the approved location or within the franchisee’s territory.
  4. Phase Four Training
Held after the business opens, this phase consists of 32-40 hours of additional training. It may involve on-site or virtual sessions aimed at reviewing operational practices and answering questions.

Territory Protection

Boost Home Healthcare grants franchisees a Protected Territory defined by ZIP codes, but this territory is non-exclusive, meaning competition from other franchisees or franchisor channels is possible.

The franchisor can market similar services online or through other methods within the territory. Franchisees must meet minimum performance standards to keep their territorial rights.

If minimum standards aren’t met, the franchisor can reduce the territory or terminate the agreement. Franchisees generally can’t operate outside their territory unless given written permission. The franchisor also reserves rights to change territory boundaries if ZIP code areas shift.
